There’s been some big news recently. Between injuries, trades and suspensions there are questions that loom. let’s take a look at some here.
I’d grab the top-tier guys late round one, early round two in deeper leagues. There’s a few rookies that could help out. Generally they don’t get going until year two. One rookie cracks my top 30. Keenan Allen was the rare rookie last season to go over 1,000 yards and should build off that.
Jamaal Charles went from a good fantasy player to the star to own. Doug martin returns from injury in Tampa and a handful of rookies hope to crack the line-ups with their teams. Here’s my top 40 and their handcuffs. I’m not big on handcuffs usually. But you do need to know the names behind your starters.
If you’re drafting soon, here’s my top twelve fantasy picks. Based on a standard league. Not much would change in a PPR format here. Later rounds for sure. I really think you can’t go wrong with either of the top 3 guys here.
Kansas City was huge for fantasy owners last year. The Patriots and Broncos have added pieces and should be defenses to own in 2014. Streaming defenses is a good way to play the match ups. You may want to carry two if you have a transaction fee per roster move if you have mediocre defenses. Remember, kick/punt returning counts!
