There’s been some big news recently. Between injuries, trades and suspensions there are questions that loom. let’s take a look at some here.
Sam Bradford went down week 3 of the pre-season. I wasn’t high on the Rams receivers anyway. Shaun hill has shown in the past he can be a capable starter. He doesn’t have Calvin Johnson this time around. I don’t think he’s worth a roster spot and I’m still not high on his weapons. Stedman Bailey could be a nice FA pick up in PPR leagues when he comes suspension. I don’t think you have to rush to grab him.
The New England Patriots Traded Guard Logan Mankins to the Buccaneers. In return the Patas got Tim Wright. Wright doesn’t need to be drafted or added. The chance of him coming in late in the preseason and making a huge splash is slim. There’s a lot of targets for Brady. But if the Patriots offense gets hit with the injury bug, Wright could find value.
I like Doug Martin’s value. He’s been coming off the boards in the third. I think you can target him in the mid to late second and get a steal. He could end with RB1 value this year. Mankins is still a great run blocker and helps the Tampa offensive line.
Josh Gordon found out he will not play in 2014. He can be reinstated in February 2015. You may want to grab him with your last pick and stash him in keeper leagues with deep benches. A move that could pay off big next year. I don’t see any value in the Browns receivers with Gordon gone.
