Week 2: Runningbacks

Heading into week 2 Matt Forte owners are hoping for a repeat.  While others hope players make more of an impact.

1. Marshawn Lynch

2. Jeremy Hill

3. DeMarco Murray

4. Mark Ingram

5. Adrian Peterson

6. Chris Ivory

7. Justin Forsett

8. Matt Forte

9. Eddie Lacy

10. Jamaal Charles

I expect Forsett to have a great game against the Raiders.  Batlimore was held without a TD week 1.  Expect that to change.  Mark Ingram played much better against Arizona than I expected.  He caught 8 passes for 98 yards and added 24 yards on the ground.  This week he’ll be running more.  He’s turned into a reliable double threat.  Chris Ivory looked great against Cleveland scoring twice.  Indy has had problems in the past stopping the run and I think Ivory will have a nice day.

11. Lamar Miller

12. Ameer Abdullah

13. Danny Woodhead

14. DeAngelo Williams

15. Carlos Hyde

Lamar Miller and the Dolphins offense had a hard time getting going in Washington.  I expect them to be better on the road this week.  It could feel like a home game.  Ameer Abdullah showed his versatility off in San Diego.  An early rushing score, catching 4 or 4 passes and returning kicks for 105 yards.  His role should grow.  Woodhead should again be the better of the San Diego backs this week. He always finds a way to move the chains and get into the end zone.  San Fransisco held Peterson in Check.  After a Monday night game they travel to Pittsburgh.  DeAngelo Williams looked quick and will again be the lead back with Bell out one more week.  Steelers roll and Williams should be big.  Carlos Hyde looked faster in the 49ers opener.  But I expect the Steelers to go up big and it could hurt Hyde’s rushing attempts.   He only saw two targets in the passing game.

16. LeSean McCoy

17. Rashad Jennings

18. Tevin Coleman

19. Joseph Randle

20. Alfred Morris

21. Jonathon Stewart

22. Frank Gore

23. Latavius Murray

24. Doug Martin
