Week 7: Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers is off and Brady takes on the Jets.  Is Luck back to his old self?  Bortles heads to London and Rivers should continue putting up a ton of yards at home against Carr and The well rested Raiders.

1. Andrew Luck

2. Carson Palmer

3. Cam Newton

4. Philip Rivers

5. Drew Brees

Luck looked good in his return from injury.  I have no Doubt he will eclipse last weeks numbers.  Palmer and the Cardinals are back home and take on a Baltimore team that can’t get it right defensively.  Cam Newton should have another good week.  Back at home I expect him to find Olsen and Ginn.  He’s rushed for 225 yards this year and I don’t see that slowing down.  I love Newton this week facing Philadelphia on a short week.  Rivers has thrown for 350+ yards in the last 3 games.  Last week Rivers went for over 500!  This week should be another big one with Oakland in town.  I like Brees in the dome this week in Indy.  He’s been consistently over 300 yards a game the last few week and the team comes in rested after a Thursday night victory.

6. Matt Ryan

7. Tom Brady

8. Russell Wilson

9. Ryan Tannehill

10. Derek Carr

Ryan and Atlanta need to bounce back after a bad week 6.  Tennessee looked sluggish and Mariota’s knee injury could limit the Titans offense.  Ryan should get plenty of scoring chances this week.  Brady has to deal with a tough jets defense.  He should be a solid start.  I expect this to be a lower scoring week for the Patriots high-powered offense.   Wilson has a Thursday night game this week.  San Francisco is giving up the most yards per game through the air (306.2)  Tannehill and Miami turned it around last week in Tennessee.  Back at home, Miami faces a Houston defense giving up 25.8 points per game.  Derek Carr comes off the bye and this one could be very high scoring.  Both defenses are near the bottom of the league.

11. Blake Bortles

12. Ryan Fitzpatrick

13. Matt Stafford

14. Josh McCown

15. Teddy Bridgewater
