Week 14: Quarterbacks

Here we are, it’s either the final week of your fantasy regular season.  Or your first week of the playoffs.  If you’re out, daily leagues are still going strong.  Manziel gets the start again in Cleveland  Here’s who I like this week.

1. Andy Dalton

2. Cam Newton

3. Blake Bortles

4. Ben Roethlisberger

5. Carson Palmer

Dalton is home against Pittsburgh. The Steelers are 29th in against passing yards. Eifert should be back this week.  Dalton should be huge for you.

Newton takes on Atlanta at home who isn’t playing well right now.  It’s the first time the two teams have played this year. Atlanta’s defense isn’t terrible.  But their offense has been killing them and Carolina could find a lot of short scoring opportunities.

Blake Bortles just keeps putting up huge fantasy games.  In fact if you own him, he should be your starter through your playoff run.  The Colts will be in Jacksonville for this contest. Indy is giving up an average of 280 yards per game through the air.  Bortles will top 300 and he gets Allen Hurns back.  Expect a big day from Bortles

Big Ben faces a solid all-around defense in Cincinnati this week.  He will be throwing a ton and with Brown, Bryant and the emerging Wheaton, Roethlisberger’s stat line should be good in a AFC North battle.  I expect a high scoring game.

Carson Palmer is having an MVP caliber season.  Back at home against a tough Vikings defense i expect Palmer to continue his good season.  Minnesota’s offense should stall out this week against Arizona’s top defense and should lead to scoring drive’s from Palmer and the Cardinal’s offense.  David Johnson should be leaned on in the passing game.

6. Aaron Rodgers

7. Jameis Winston

8. Tom Brady

9. Tyrod Taylor

10. Ryan Fitzpatrick

This group should post a solid stat line.  Rodgers faces a Dallas team that played on the road Monday night. They’re back on the road and if Green Bay’s offense can get it together, Rodgers will have a great week.  Winston faces New Orleans and everyone goes big against the horrific Saints defense.  Tom Brady posted a solid stat line last week in a bad game.  I’d expect another solid week in Houston.  Especially if Gronk comes back.  Buffalo heads to Philly who have been pretty bad against the pass.  Taylor will run and pass for a good day.  Buffalo needs a big win at 6-6.  Ryan Fitzpatrick faces the Titans who have been tough against the run.  But Tennessee has given up 25 passing touchdowns this year.  Which is tied for third most with Cleveland.

11. Matt Stafford

12. Drew Brees
