Week 9 Runningback rankings

Demarco Murray’s toe injury shouldn’t be a concern.  But with many players off this week, Derrick Henry could be a solid option if Murray gets a few less reps. Especially catching passes out of the backfield.  San Diego has given up the most receiving yards to runningbacks ths season (501)

Keep an eye on for player marked with **.  They are not sure things to play.  Lesean McCoy should play Monday night.  But with a long flight and a reoccurring hamstring injury he could be a dicey start.  In a week like this with so many byes and injuries, if he plays you should start him.  Carlos Hyde is really up in the air.  He’s another wait and see.  Hyde has a tremendous matchup against New Orleans.  Jay Aajyi has been a monster at home the past two games.  Miami has worn teams down and Ajayi has run wild in the second half.  I think it’ll happen again this week against the Jets.  Surprise of the week could be Antone Smith vs his former team.  He’s more of a pass catcher.  But he’s been known to have some big games when given the chance.
