2019 Wide Recievers

Odell Beckham Jr is teamed up with Baker Mayfield in Cleveland.  That’s an upgreade for him.  Antonio Brown froze his feet off and the early part of the season could be in jeopardy.  He’s also throwing a fit about his helmet…   Tyreek Hill avoided suspension and should be drafted as a top reciever.  Larry Fitzgerald should have a more productive season.  Consider him earlier than he’s being universally drafted.  Look for even better numbers in year two from Calvin Ridley if take another step forward.  Other second year recievers like DJ Moore, Gallup, Valdes-Scandling should be valuable parts of rosters this season.  Josh Gordon is back with the Patriots. It’s a gamble to take him.  I think he’ll be a reliable WR2 with WR1 upside most weeks if he can stay on the field.

2019 DST

The Chicago Bears had 27 Interceptions in 2018.  The Dolphins were the only other team with over 20 (21).  50 sacks and 6 TD’s made Chicago the overall points leader as a DST.  The Rams weren’t far behind.  As always, owners will panic and draft defense too high.  Sit back and grab Tennessee, Jacksonville, New England or another team that falls.  If they’re gone look for a good week 1 home match up and start there.  Streaming isn’t the worst idea.  Many times you can land a long term streamer early in the season.

2019 Runningbacks

There’s a lot more questions coming into this season than we anticipated last December.  Ezekiel Elliott is currently holding out.  Melvin Gordon is too and also has requested a trade.  Todd Gurley went from the top to injured.  Now concerns over health and work load are making people nervous.  Will Leveon Bell be a top back in New York or will his numbers decline after a year off?

2019 Tight Ends

Every year it ends up being slim pickings at the tight end position.  Gronk is retired, Kelce and Eztz remain at the top. Kittle is right there behind them.   Rookies usually don’t make an impact.  But this season could be different with TJ Hockenson and Irv Smith.  The depth of this position will be up to players like Njoku, Engram, Henry, McDonald and others.  If those guys stay healthy and produce it could be a solid year.  Jared Cook could have a very nice season in New Orleans.  Chris Herndon could be a vauable pick at the end of your draft.  He’s suspended the first four games.  Herndon could be an excellent source of points at the position when he returns.
